Fan Zone: From Public Viewing to Music Artists and Join-in-Activities

The Fan Zone is Gelsenkirchen's big party arena at Nordsternpark with space for 6,000 guests! During the entire UEFA EURO 2024™, from 14 June to 14 July, there will be a total of over 200 hours of stage programme with music, talks, food & drinks, comedy, numerous activities to join in, theme days, a daily European Championship Football Talk with Jörg Seveneick and guests - and of course all 51 matches on a big screen!

The events are hosted by Ann-Kathrin Krügel and Marco Kochbeck.

Public viewing in Gelsenkirchen's Amphitheatre

Public viewing in Gelsenkirchen also takes place in the amphitheatre - within walking distance of the fan zone. All matches of the German national team will be shown there in a beautiful setting directly on the waterfront, as well as all matches played in Gelsenkirchen, the two semi-finals and the final.

Travel advice

Please travel by public transport if possible! The Fan Zone and the Fan Meeting Points are easily accessible via regular public transport and additional shuttle services.

Fan Zone Daily Programme 

  • 14th of June: From 4 pm to 11 pm: Opening of the Fan Zone with EM-Talk, Football Artist and the highlight MEDUZA. The Italian DJ trio will perform the EURO song together with One Republic and Leony.
  • 15th of June: From 1 pm to 11:30 pm: Where the Strykers are, good humour is never far away. The young party band is sure to heat up the Fan Zone. They are local heroes with Gelsenkirchen roots!
  • 16th of June: From 1 pm to 11:30 pm: In keeping with today's match in Gelsenkirchen - Serbia against England - the local heroes Florians will heat up the Fan Zone. Cover rock at its best!
  • 17th of June: From 1 pm to 11:30 pm: With its own songs and interpretations of great hits, Relate certainly brings the sound of the 1980s to the Fan Zone.
  • 18th of June: 4 pm to 11:30 pm: Today there are comedy interludes in the Fan Zone, MYLLER, will sing his way into the hearts of his audience with electronic, fresh beats and profound lyrics.
  • 19th of June: From 1 pm to 11:30 pm: Knallblech, a brass band with self-produced DJ beats and a wild performance - pure party in the Fan Zone! Children can earn a football badge today.
  • 20th of June: From 1 pm to 11:30 pm: The Strykers are back on the pitch today, and there are three football matches - including Spain versus Italy in Gelsenkirchen.
  • 21st of June: From 1 pm to 11:30 pm: The four newcomers from Gelsenkirchen play rock pop of the 21st century - ‘music that gets under your skin’.
  • 22nd of June: From 1 pm to 11:30 pm: Betrayers of Babylon spread a highly infectious energy with their colourful mix of reggae and global groove with a highly infectious energy. Today is also Inclusion Day with offers centred around inclusive sport.
  • 23th of June: From 3 pm to 11:30 pm: The nine-piece, festival-proven folk pop band The Magic Mumble Jumble from the Netherlands is guaranteed to spread the best party and dance and dance atmosphere in the Fan Zone.
  • 24th of June: From 6 pm to 11:30 pm: Today Spain is playing Albania, and and the famous Spanish band Eskorzo performs with cumbia, afrobeat, gypsy punk, reggae, ska, funk and jazz in the fan zone.
  • 25th of June: From 4 pm to 11:30 pm: As the name suggests: Elton & The Joels bring world hits by Elton John and Billy Joel on stage - recognition guaranteed!
  • 26th of June: From 4 pm to 11:30 pm: Knallblech are at the start again today, and the day is also characterised by many activities that combine football, sustainability and education. There will also be a match in Gelsenkirchen: Georgia will play Portugal.
  • 28th of June: From 5 pm to 10 pm: With his hits, including ‘Feel Alive’ and ‘So good’, the singer-songwriter KAMRAD is guaranteed to conjure up summer vibes in the zone. Also, the cover band Boat People and lots of information about about health and volunteering.
  • 29th of June: From From 4 pm to 11:30 pm: Danceable beats and German lyrics that get to the point: The urban brass band Moop Mama x Älice is fun. S04 is also organising a walking football tournament.
  • 30th of June: From 4 pm to 11:30 pm: Fan zone, there are fan chants to sing along to, and Knallblech really steps on the gas again. And it is hard to believe: it's already eighth-final day in Gelsenkirchen.
  • 1st of July: From 4 pm to 11:30 pm: Alternative pop-rock with a pinch of indie. Sometimes dreamy, honest and captivating: this is how newcomers Miss Madison describe their music, which they are sure to inspire the Fan Zone with.
  • 2nd of July: From 4 pm to 11:30 pm: The Dortmund band Finn&Jonas brings German-language indie pop to the Fan Zone. Football Freestylers show what you can do with a ball.
  • 5th of July: From 4 pm to 11:30 pm: Isaak has made it from casting shows to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024
    in Malmö - so it will be easy for the powerful singer will find it easy to conquer the conquer the fan zone.
  • 6th of July: From 4 pm to 11:30 pm: A surprise guest is coming today! This much can already be revealed: The band has already landed one or two legendary hits!
  • 7th of July: From 11 am to 5 pm: Today the Fan Zone invites you to a big family day. With Rave and Hip Hop for kids, play mobiles and much more.
  • 9th of July: From 5 pm to 11:30 pm: Leony is coming! Will she also perform the official EURO song, which she will perform
    together with MEDUZA and One Republic together?
  • 10th of July: From 5 pm to 11:30 pm: The internationally renowned superstar DJ Alle Farben is coming for a set in the Fan Zone in Gelsenkirchen!
  • 12th of July: From 5 pm to 10 pm: Eko Fresh is a legend of German rap and will be doing the honours in the Fan Zone. There's also an e-sports tournament, a youth tournament, graffiti and freestyle.
  • 13th of July: From 5 pm to 10 pm: Today there's the big warm-up before the final with e-sports, the 11-metre city championship and lots of local bands.
  • 14th of July: Finale of the European Football Championship: From 3 pm to 11:30 pm: ‘Supergirl’, ‘Narcotic’ or ‘What it feels like’ - one of the many hits of the hip Berlin DJ and producer and producer duo YouNotUs everyone in the fan zone is sure to know. And: Today is the final!
